1.
RACE EVENTS
1.1 The
leader and at least half of the field must cross the
start line once a caution flag has been displayed for
that lap to count.
1.2
Cars deemed involved in a caution or pitting will
be moved to the rear of the field.
1.3
There will be no racing to/on the caution flag.
1.4
If a driver(s) is involved in an accident after
the caution flag has been displayed or not directly
involved in the caution, track officials may place the
driver
back in original position.
1.5
If a car is unable to start their event at the
original start, they may still join the starting field
at a time determined safe by Officials.
A car must appear on
the racing surface under its own
power
1.6
All NASCAR races will be run under a one minute
per lap time limit.
All ¼ mile races will be run under a forty-five
second per lap time limit.
Red flag time
is not counted against the time
limit. If
the time limit is reached, the starter will display a
green, white, checkered finish one time.
If the caution flag is
displayed during a green, white
checkered finish, the race is finished and the results
will revert back to the last completed lap.
1.7
A car must take a green flag to receive
points/pay for the event. (EIRI)
2.
MISCELLANEOUS
2.1
The decisions of the Official Scorer and Track
Management, with respect to timing and scoring, are
final
2.2
If a competitor wishes to protest a line up
before the event starts, contact the Director of
Competition before the cars enter the racing surface.
2.3 If a
competitor wishes to protest a line up during an event,
pull up along side the position in question.
Competitors are recommended to also communicate
with spotters to let Officials aware of the protest.
2.4
If a competitor wished to protest a scoring
finish, a $50 protest fee and written protest will be
required with-in 15 minutes of completion of event to
Director
of Competition.
If scoring finish stands, protest fee is retained
by scoring.
If protester is found correct, protest fee will be
refunded.
2.5
If a competitor wishes to protest a finish after
the results are posted, contact MCM office with-in
twenty-four(24) hours of results of being posted with a
$75
protest fee or results will be
official (EIRI).
The same goes for points standings.
2.6
Music
City Motorplex reserves
the right to correct/adjust any discrepancies, made by
race track, in race results and points standings at any
time.
2.7
Car numbers must be clear and legible to be
scored.
2.8
No waive-by’s allowed.
Drivers must restart in the position directed to
by scoring and officials.
Car may only by waived by another competitor
during
green flag conditions.
2.9
Any car causing three(3) cautions will be sent to
the pits
2.10
Competitors must fill out proper paperwork and
have all fees paid to be scored.
2.11 Cars must
line up according to officials/scoring immediately.
Cars not falling into their designated positions
immediately will be black flagged.
