APPLICATION
1.1
This general rules section applies to each racer,
mechanics and all pit personnel.
1.2
Some items do not apply to each class
1.3
You are expected to know the rule; ignorance will
not be tolerated as an excuse
2.
COMPETITOR OBLIGATIONS
2.1
Any driver entering the racing event is
considered to have inspected the track and all
conditions are satisfactory to him/her.
If not, the driver should not race.
The participant indicates that he/she is aware
that auto racing involves risks and assumes these risks
with full awareness and knowledge.
2.2
It is the responsibility of the competitor to
have any race parts inspected before the racing events.
3.
GENERAL STATEMENT
3.1
The rules and regulations set forth herein are
designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing
events and to establish minimum requirements for such
events. The
rules shall govern the condition for all events, and by
participating in these events, all participants are
deemed to have complied with these rules.
No express or implied warranty of safety shall
result from publication of, or compliance with these
rules and regulations.
They are intended as a guide for the conduct of
the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury
or death to participants, spectators or others.
The official in charge shall be empowered to
permit minor deviation from any of the specifications
herein or impose further restrictions that in his
opinion do not alter the minimum acceptance
requirements.
No expressed or implied warranty of safety shall
result from such alteration of specifications.
3.2
Interpretation of these rules is left to the
discretion of the official in charge.
Their decision is final.
3.3
Any competitor whom wishes to compete, consents
to the use of his/her name, pictures of themselves and
car for publicity, advertising and endorsements both
before and after the events, and relinquishes any rights
to photos taken in connection with events and consents
to the publication or sale of such photos as the
Speedway so desires.
4.
CONDUCT
4.1
Any fighting or reckless driving will be subject
to displinary and/or legal action depending on the
seriousness of the incident and the decision of the
Track Officials and Management.
4.2
We demand courteous conduct from all participants
at all times.
We will not tolerate profanity in front of race
fans, other participants, Officials or Management.
4.3
Profane signs on your car, sex signs, swastikas
or obscene symbols on your car or cloths are not
allowed.
4.4
Penalties and fines for violation of the conduct,
race procedure and general rules may be implemented per
this rulebook or by the NASCAR rule book to
all participants at the discretion of
the Track Officials and Management.
4.5
At any time the display of a weapon or threat of
bodily harm will result in permanent suspension and
arrest for all parties involved.
4.6
Music
City Motorplex is private
property.
Any person on this property without the expressed
permission of Music City Motorplex, it owners or
management is guilty of trespass and is subject to the
penalties prescribed by law.
4.7
Through your license and registration, you have
been given the authority and the right to be on this
property in conjunction with racing activities.
However, the Administration of the Music City
Motorplex reserves the right to revoke and cancel this
authority at any time that it is felt your presence or
conduct is not in the best interest of the sport of auto
racing, your fellow competitors, the fans, staff and
management of the Music City
Motorplex.
