Section 14 – NASCAR Whelen All American Super Trucks - Issued April 19, 2008

 

1. Wheelbase

 

1.2          Maximum track width 65.5 inches, center to center of tires at spindle height.

rule book will be in effect throughout the 2008 race season.  These were mis-printed.  No protest will be accepted on this issue until after May 10.

 

Section 13 – NASCAR Whelen All American Late Models - Issued April 26, 2008

 

16. Carburetor Spacers, Gaskets and Mounting

 

16.1       Any carburetor spacer may be used on Chevrolet crate motors as long as it doesn’t exceed 1” in thickness and it has four holes, non tapered, chamfered, or radiused, with a Max dia of 1.690 inches in dia and is aluminum only.

16.2     Machined Engines only a 1 piece, solid, aluminum carburetor spacer, a minumum 0.700 inch, maximum 0.750 inch in thickness, must be installed between intake manifold and carburetor.  The spacer must be centered on the intake manifold and have two (2) round holes with a max of 1.690 inch openings located in the center that match the base of the carburetor.  Holes must be cut perpendicular with the base of the carburetor.  Taper, bevels, or any modifications will not be permitted.
